Angela is our lead Barber at Reed Studio.
Originally trained as a hairdresser in 2005, Angela with her eye for detail and precision jumped ship and found herself transitioning to barbering in 2013, and she hasn’t looked back since!
In that time, Ange has won awards at various hair competitions and has had a passion and drive to give back to the next generation through educating apprentices and mentoring skilled barbers alike.
Having previously being a part-owner and managing a successful barbershop in Melbourne’s CBD for seven years, Ange decided it was time to do her own thing and in 2022, Reed Studio was born.
Ange has been known to love a chat and for this reason many of her clients end up as mates. For Ange, it’s not just about a good haircut but about having a fun time with her clients.
Ange is currently accepting new clients, but be quick, her appointment book fills up fast!

THOMAS SPEE

Thomas has been working as a Barber and Hair Stylist since 2017.
Originally hailing from the Sunshine Coast QLD, and with a strong interest in fashion, culture and food, he had to make the move to Melbourne.
Thomas found himself wanting to learn and better the skill of men’s hair styling, which has lead him to work with the industry’s most recognised stylists. He has been a finalist for American Crew All Star and won the Best Mens Team Collection in 2021.
Residing at Reed studio, Thomas provides the highest quality service for you and your hair.
You'll find him at Reed Studio Tuesday through to Saturday.

PHOENIX CHURCHILL

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Phoenix moved to Melbourne in 2022. He wanted to look for new adventures and opportunities to learn and upskill in his barbering career. Phoenix had always wanted to move overseas and knew Melbourne had everything to offer.
Phoenix started his barbering journey in 2020 and has been passionate ever since. With his welcoming personality and his precise and modern techniques, you know you are in good hands.
Always up for a good chat and a laugh, you'll find Phoenix at Reed Studio Tuesday through to Saturday.
